The Fashion Apartment Lightens Up

As the fashion apartment moved to Berlin in April, interior and decoration is a big topic at the moment. As much as I love nice furniture, prints and all kinds of decoration - my real passion are lamps. 

The right lighting can change the whole atmosphere of a room and for me there's nothing worse than really bright fluorescent light (as you often find in hospitals and unfortunately in a lot of households, too). It just gives me headaches and immediately sets me in a bad mood.

However - the right light is only complete if it's surrounded by a really nice lamp. Those four beauties above are my absolute favourites and I think they suit the fashion apartment quite well.

so I hope one or two of them will find there way to my Berlin home and brighten up the lounge, the dressing table and the wardrobe very soon.

Deutsche Version nach dem Cut!

Da das Fashion Apartment im April nach Berlin gezogen ist, dreht sich momentan alles um Deko. Ich liebe zwar schöne Möbel, Drucke und alle möglichen Deko-Artikel aber meine wahre Leidenschaft sind Lampen.

Die richtige Beleuchtung kann die ganze Atmosphäre eines Zimmers verändern und für mich gibt es nichts Schlimmeres als grelles Neonlicht (wie man es oft in Krankenhäusern und leider auch viel zu vielen Haushalten finden kann). Irgendwie krieg ich davon wahnsinns Kopfschmerzen und auch sehr schnell schlechte Laune.

Das richtige Licht ist aber nur halb so schön, wenn es nicht von einer schönen Lampe umgeben ist. Diese vier Schönheiten im Bild oben sind meine absoluten Favoriten und passen super ins Fashion Apartment.

Ich hoffe als, dass die eine oder andere sich bald in meiner Berliner Wohnung einfinden wird, um die Lounge, den Schminktisch und die Kleiderstange standesgemäß zu erhellen.
