.. and my winner is:

As both working and deep in love with fashion, following fashion week twice a year is one of my fav things to do. And no worries, I won't make any detailed reports about all the shows - because there are loads of experts out there who are so much better at doing that - but let me just say that I'm always most excited about five shows in particular: Isabel Marant (bien sûr), Balmain, Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney and.. Chloé!
Chloé's FW15 show was my absolute fav and I fell head over heels in love with these three looks above - deep V-necks vs. short bottoms and this velvet dress.. mon dieu.
French chic at it's best.

My French Pharmacie Must-haves

I guess thousands of women are wondering how to achieve the certain "je-ne-sais-quoi" of the typical French mademoiselle. Although I don't have a fully satisfying answer to this question, I certainly think that the amazing beauty products the French are stocking in their bathrooms and which they buy in one of their many pharmacies - there's basically one at every corner, at least in Paris - are certainly one of the many reasons behind French allure.

I am also a big fan of la fameuse pharmacie française - during the three years I lived in Paris I tested quite a few products until I found my five favourites and almost all of them are part of my daily beauty routine.

Allez, no matter if you're currently living in France and still looking for "the (beautiful) ones" or if you're just in Paris for a weekend shopping trip, make sure you get your hands on the following products:

1. Bioderma Eau Micellaire

What can I say - This wonderful product is a beauty shelf staple of so many women and one of my all-time favourites. The make-up remover comes without any perfumes and is very much like water - the only difference is that it removes almost all of your make-up (even waterproof mascara!) in no time at all. Make sure you buy it when in France or let French friends bring it to you when they're over as it's SO much cheaper in France than in the UK or Germany!

2. Klorane Patchs lissants défatigants

Adieu tired and puffy eyes! Theses patches might be a less known but they are my hidden beauty weapon whenever I didn't get much sleep and feel like I need something fresh to wake up the area around my eyes. Every pack contains seven patches so I don't use it on a daily basis but more like a treat!

3. Caudalie Eau de Beauté

This product can also be found on various beauty blogs and is no real secret anymore. I love to use it in summer when it's hot outside and I feel like my make-up needs a little fix or I just need a fresh finish. It smells fantastic as well and when you buy the smaller travel version you can take it with you wherever you go.

4. Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré

If you're looking for a rich, nourishing day creme then search no longer. This moisturiser has a rather liquid texture and feels nice and smooth when applied to your skin in the mornings. If it hasn't fully sunk in yet and you apply you're BB Creme/Foundation, it creates an amazing glow that lasts throughout the whole day.

5. Homéoplasmine

Last but not least I have to mention Homéoplasmine. It might not have the sexiest look but it's full of useful features. Whenever you have an issue with your skin (excema, dry skin, redness), just apply a small layer of Homéoplasmine and it will certainly help! I mostly use it whenever I have dry lips in winter or even when my hands are very dry before I go to sleep. It's also great if you want to fix the shape of your eyebrows or if you want to add a bit of extra glow wherever needed!
