Maritime vibes

Coat: Zara / Shirt: Costes / Denim: Lindex / Shoes: Mango / Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Hat: Elbsegler

Sometimes I think the Estonian inside me is missing the seaside so much that she tries all kinds of different ways to get closer to it - for example by having big cravings for poisson, crevettes & co. but also by expressing a certain goût for maritime clothing. That's why I had an absolute coup de coeur for this little sailor hat that I found in a boutique in Berlin last summer and I think it doesn't only work in Tallinn but near La Seine, too.

Creamy Chameleon

Knit: H&M / Denim: Topshop / Boots: Aldo / Bags: Whistles

When it's not really freezing outside yet, I love to leave my coat at home and just wear a big jumper instead - this one is a really all rounder:

I've been taking my favourite knit out on the street very often lately and instead of wearing gloves, I just hide my hands in the maxi sized sleeves - as the thick turtle neck is super warm, too, I don't need a scarf either - that's what I call multifunctional clothing.

Le coup de foudre

Skirt: 27 Quai de Seine

As I have developed a serious "goût" for midi skirts, my crush for this little beauty above is probably not surprising - especially as I also love asymmetric cuts and original textures. Can't wait to take my new leather/suede (ish) skirt on la rue!

Hat over Heels

Hat: UO / Jumper: COS / Denim: Cheap Monday / Wedges: Zara

Ever since Hedi Slimane made his Saint Laurent models wear broad fedora hats and heels on the cat walk in 2012, I am obsessed with this look. A couple of years later, it still works perfectly for a casual-chic and urban look that doesn't need much more than a few (preferably dark coloured) basics.

The game changer

Sweater & Skirt: Mango / Booties: Aldo / Bag: Whistles

At this time of the year I usually love wearing a pair of trousers and a chunky knit. However, a dress or a skirt can be a real game changer once I have enough of my usual autumn uniform. This straight midi skirt is one of my current favourites - I love to combine it with both casual knits or sweaters and more chic items like heels or a nice silk blouse

Candy Shopping with Equipment

Dust Coat & Denim: H&M / Silk Blouse: Equipment
Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs / Shoes: Mango / Necklace: Pascale Monvoisin

In my opinion there is no better label than the French label Equipment when it comes to silk blouses. Most of their shirts like the one I'm wearing are made of washed silk that feels great on your skin. Another great investment piece that can be worn to various occasions and which goes with both casual and chic looks.

.. and once you get your hands on one of these shirts, the rest is simple: button down (variable, but as per - the lower, the better if you wanna add the certain "je-ne-sais-quoi"), add a piece of jewellery and a pair of comfy denim trousers or a leather skirt - et voilà!
