Au revoir 2014 - Au revoir Paris

Coat: Zara / Sweater: Ganni / Denim: Cheap Monday / Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs / Boots: Aldo

The end of the year also means that I have to say au revoir to Paris - as this is my last Paris outfit post I opted for a minimalistic Parisian look that consists of my go-to black trousers form Cheap Monday and one of my favourite jumpers from Ganni. One of my everyday-combos that is not only perfect for Paris but also for my new adventure in London next year.

Alors, roll on 2015!

Shades of Camel

Coat: Paul Smith / Scarf: Zara / Denim: Cheap Monday / Chelsea Boots: La Halle

I was craving a camel coloured coat for a long time but for some reason I just couldn't find the perfect one - until I met this cashmere-blend beauty from Paul Smith. A classic coat that basically goes with everything and that will most certainly be one of my go-to pieces for the next winter seasons to come.

speechless

Mon dieu, how amazing is this Burberry's new SS15 campaign? Just stumbled over this gorgeous image of British top models Naomi and Jourdan - Pardon but in my opinion, these two definitely beat Cara & La Moss.

Winter Whites

Knit: & Other Stories / Denim: Lindex / Boots: Office / Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs

Today I'm wearing one of my everyday-outfits, nothing very edgy, nothing very fancy but perfect for a day full of running errands and being out and about. I love wearing bright colours in winter and the combination of white and beige is one of my favourites. The chunky cotton-blend knit is another favourite from & Other Stories, these guys know how to make jumpers, c'est la folie

knit 'n' heels

Knit: & Other Stories / Denim: H&M / Boots: Zara / Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs

When it's getting colder outside, I usually opt for comfy, and especially warm combinations. The chic factor definitely gets neglected this way as big Michelin-style cots and furry boots don't actually add the certain "je-ne-sais-quoi".

Winter Florals

Coat: Zara / Sweater & Dress: Mango / Boots: Eden / Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs

I spent the weekend in Germany and had real difficulties to get used to the cold after having been spoilt by Paris' constant 14 degrees - anyway, this didn't keep me from opting for one of my favorite autumn/winter combinations: skirt meets boots.
I was searching for a pair of 60's style inspired boots for ages and I finally found them at Eden, a French shoe label that never fails to disappoint.

But let's be honest: The rest of my time in Germany I was wearing super warm moon boots, a big chapka and a Michelin-style coat - I mean, this weather is ridiculous!!

Happy freezing x

Maritime vibes

Coat: Zara / Shirt: Costes / Denim: Lindex / Shoes: Mango / Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Hat: Elbsegler

Sometimes I think the Estonian inside me is missing the seaside so much that she tries all kinds of different ways to get closer to it - for example by having big cravings for poisson, crevettes & co. but also by expressing a certain goƻt for maritime clothing. That's why I had an absolute coup de coeur for this little sailor hat that I found in a boutique in Berlin last summer and I think it doesn't only work in Tallinn but near La Seine, too.

Creamy Chameleon

Knit: H&M / Denim: Topshop / Boots: Aldo / Bags: Whistles

When it's not really freezing outside yet, I love to leave my coat at home and just wear a big jumper instead - this one is a really all rounder:

I've been taking my favourite knit out on the street very often lately and instead of wearing gloves, I just hide my hands in the maxi sized sleeves - as the thick turtle neck is super warm, too, I don't need a scarf either - that's what I call multifunctional clothing.

Le coup de foudre

Skirt: 27 Quai de Seine

As I have developed a serious "goĆ»t" for midi skirts, my crush for this little beauty above is probably not surprising - especially as I also love asymmetric cuts and original textures. Can't wait to take my new leather/suede (ish) skirt on la rue!

Hat over Heels

Hat: UO / Jumper: COS / Denim: Cheap Monday / Wedges: Zara

Ever since Hedi Slimane made his Saint Laurent models wear broad fedora hats and heels on the cat walk in 2012, I am obsessed with this look. A couple of years later, it still works perfectly for a casual-chic and urban look that doesn't need much more than a few (preferably dark coloured) basics.

The game changer

Sweater & Skirt: Mango / Booties: Aldo / Bag: Whistles

At this time of the year I usually love wearing a pair of trousers and a chunky knit. However, a dress or a skirt can be a real game changer once I have enough of my usual autumn uniform. This straight midi skirt is one of my current favourites - I love to combine it with both casual knits or sweaters and more chic items like heels or a nice silk blouse

Candy Shopping with Equipment

Dust Coat & Denim: H&M / Silk Blouse: Equipment
Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs / Shoes: Mango / Necklace: Pascale Monvoisin

In my opinion there is no better label than the French label Equipment when it comes to silk blouses. Most of their shirts like the one I'm wearing are made of washed silk that feels great on your skin. Another great investment piece that can be worn to various occasions and which goes with both casual and chic looks.

.. and once you get your hands on one of these shirts, the rest is simple: button down (variable, but as per - the lower, the better if you wanna add the certain "je-ne-sais-quoi"), add a piece of jewellery and a pair of comfy denim trousers or a leather skirt - et voilĆ !

London Look

Coat & Wedge Booties: Zara / Jumper: & Other Stories / Denim: Cheap Monday

Earlier this week I jumped on a Eurostar to London where I was greeted by the loveliest weather including a very blue sky and spring-like temperatures. My dear friend Yev was so kind to take some pictures of my outfit on the streets of London. I have already declared my love for & Other Stories and this merino wool jumper doesn't fail to disappoint either. Definitely one of my favourite outfits that fits both the streets of the English and French capital.

(Cheap) Monday Post & Other Stories

Silk Blouse: & Other Stories / Jeans: Cheap Monday / Booties: Aldo / Bag: Michael Kors

I'm a huge fan of silk blouses, especially if they have a pretty v-neck like this one from & Other Stories. The slightly edgy pieces of the Swedish label just never fail to disappoint and they always add the certain "je-ne-sais-quoi".

Autumn Essentials

Hat: UP / Knit: & Other Stories / Clutch: Vintage / Booties: Aldo

The days are getting colder but I am happy that I can rely on my fall must-haves. My hat from Urban Outfitters already accompanies me through Paris for several weeks now and is the best weapon against every bad hair day and rainy days. The chunky knit from & Other Stories is super comfy because of its blend of wool and cotton and one of my clear favourites.
Happy fall dressing!

Shades of Blue

Shirt: Zara / Denim: Urban Outfitters / Boots: Office / Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs

As I already mentioned in my previous post, we got super lucky with the weather in Paris on the weekend so I opted for a loose striped shirt and a pair of skinny blue jeans.

Eternal Summer

Shirt: Mango / Denim: H&M / Sunnies: Zara / Flats: Mango / Bag: Whistles

I can't tell you how happy I am about le retour of the Parisian summer! Didn't even dare to imagine that in October, I would be able to stroll around Montmartre wearing nothing more than a top and a pair of sunnies.

Le coup de foudre

Knit: H&M

I fell head over heels in love with this chunky knit and its sophisticated turtleneck and cut-out details.

Summer Memories

Shirt: Zara; Shorts: Levi's Vintage; Bag: Whistles; Shoes: Birkenstock

Now that October is not far away anymore, I'm starting to get a bit nostalgic about this very busy but definitely great summer. The picture above was taken in Tallinn a couple of months ago and displays one of my favorite summer outfits. Never can go wrong with wardrobe basics like a pair of Levi's shorts, Birks and a white shirt right?

Pierre Who?

High Heels: Balmain

I literally fell "head over heels" in love with these beauties from Balmain on the weekend - "j'ai craquƩ" as the French would say. Classy heels from one of my favorite labels that proof once again that investment pieces do the trick.

Paris Essentials

Hat - Urban Outfitters; Bag - Whistles; Sunnies: Zara

After more than a year without a post I thought that my arrival in Paris could be a good occasion to revive my blog again. The items above accompany during my strolls around the French capital in September and are the perfect pieces for casual trans-seasonal dressing.
